Dec 18: Markland Wood, Annual Christmas Caravan & Food Drive Our Caravan will visit every home in Markland Wood. In 2004 we shared over 15,000 pounds of food, a truckload of clothes and over $500. The charities that benefit are: The Salvation Army, The Brothers of the Good Shepherd, The Scott Mission, the money is donated to The Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund.

Wed Dec 21, 6pm: FESTIVAL OF LIGHT On the shortest, darkest day of the year, the folks of Kensington Market throw a giant street party featuring bands, puppets, stiltwalkers, firebreathers and other great craziness culminating in "a fiery send-off to the old year."
